Leadership through Service
FBCOG-The Collaborative is grateful for all those who volunteer with us-their volunteerism aide's in delivery of service to those in need. Everyone's "Warm Heart of Services and Willing Hands" are a great asset! Each person brings a vast background of many talents, skills and experiences this aide's in the smooth delivery of each program area, the annual "EXPO"s at each school hub site, and all scheduled program activities. This has afforded FBCOG to Reach further, Touch many, and Teach to 'Enrich' the lives' of those in our communities.
The Faith Based Collaborative Outreach Group (FBCOG-The Collaborative) partners with schools to deliver "A Holistic Approach to Education & Community" by providing intrinsic community services programs which address the identified needs of food insecurity, economic disadvantages, and access to accessible service supports. In partnership with local schools, community service agencies, grass-root organizations, community advocates, churches/ministries, and other entities these barriers are removed. The primary objective of each partnership is to set a cooperative framework to secure service aides, and resources thereby creating sustainable solutions for participants of all the our programs.
Programs are structured to address the underline social needs in each service area, and to bridging the gap between the client and the resources, or service aides their family needs. All programs consist of enrichment activities to support healthy living and well-being addressing the whole person; while addressing the disparaging effects of food insecurity, economic challenges and poverty among school age children -their families, and those of their immediate community. We have set an objective to create synergy through partnership to Impact, Enrich, and Empower those we serve in Unity~
